byrst ai model · 3d from photos

Generate a full 3D model from just one photo

Upload one to four images of any object - furniture, decor, everyday items - and Byrst generates a ready-to-use 3D model. No 3D software, no specialist, no pipeline.

key benefit

Why use AI to generate your 3D-model

Skip the 3D pipeline entirely - go from a product photo to an interactive model in minutes.

As Few as One Image

Byrst's AI can generate a complete 3D model from a single photograph - more images add detail, but you're never blocked by missing angles.

Fast Turnaround

Get a 3D reference model in minutes - ideal when you need a quick size, style, or placement check without commissioning a full 3D artist.

No 3D Software Needed

No Blender, no Maya, no specialist on payroll. Any team member can generate a model from their phone photos - no training needed.

Works for Any Object

Furniture, lighting, decor accessories, retail products - if you can photograph it, Byrst can model it. No category restrictions.

Texture Prompt Refinement

Add a short text prompt describing the material - walnut wood, brushed steel, linen fabric - and the AI applies it to sharpen surface quality.

True Physical Scale in AR

Set the real-world width, depth, and height so the model appears at the correct size in any AR session - customers see exactly how it fits in their space.

Every generated model gets a shareable link and a one-line embed snippet - drop it into any product page, online catalogue, or website with no extra setup.

Syncs with Your Byrst Library

Generated models are saved directly to My Items - available immediately across AR View, Scene, and any other Byrst workflow.

how it works

From Photos to 3D Model in Minutes

Upload. Generate. Share. No 3D skills required.

1

Add your image

Upload one to four photos of the object. More angles give the AI more to work with - but a single front-facing shot is enough to produce a usable model. JPEG, PNG, and WebP are all auto-converted on upload.

Upload
Upload a file

Drag and drop or browse - JPEG, PNG, and WEBP are all supported.

Recommended Order

Front → Side → Back. The AI uses angle sequence to reconstruct geometry.

Upload Link Document
Supported Formats

JPEG, PNG, and WEBP. High-resolution images produce the sharpest 3D models.

Tip
Shoot against a plain background in good lighting. Even one clean front-facing photo will produce a usable model - extra angles add geometry detail but are never required.
2

Modify Settings

Before generating, adjust settings to guide the output. The texture prompt is a key option - describe the surface material in plain language and the AI uses it to sharpen texture quality, particularly useful when photos don't fully capture the material character.

3

Generate the 3D Model

Click Generate and Byrst's AI processes your images - analysing angles, reconstructing geometry, and applying textures automatically. When the model is ready it appears in the viewer. Drag to orbit it 360° and confirm everything looks right before moving on.

4

Set Real-World Dimensions

In model editor, enter the object's actual width, depth, and height. Byrst scales the model so it appears at true physical size in every AR session - shoppers see exactly how it fits in their space.

5

Share or Embed the Model

Your model is saved to My Items and ready to distribute. Send a direct link for instant viewing in any browser, or copy the embed snippet to drop the 3D viewer into any product page or website.

Link

A direct URL opens the model in an interactive 3D viewer - no app or account needed to view.

Code
Embed on Any Site

One HTML snippet adds a full 3D + AR viewer to Shopify, Webflow, WordPress, or any custom page.

Common questions

Do I really only need one image?

Yes - a single front-facing photo is enough to generate a complete 3D model. Adding a second, third, or fourth angle from different sides gives the AI more geometry data, which improves accuracy on complex shapes. But one clean photo is a perfectly valid starting point, especially for quick references.

What order should I photograph the object?

For best results, follow a consistent order: Front → Side → Back → Detail close-up. This sequence helps the AI understand the spatial relationship between each angle. You don't need all four - stop at any point and Byrst will work with what it has.

What does the texture prompt actually do?

It gives the AI a material hint when the photo alone doesn't fully capture the surface. For example, if a photo of a walnut table reads as generic brown, adding "walnut wood with a satin finish" helps the AI refine grain patterns and reflectivity. It's optional - skip it if your photo quality is already high.

How accurate is the generated 3D model?

AI-generated models are great for style, scale, and placement references - they represent the object's overall form and proportions well. Intricate fine details like stitching, engraving, or very thin edges may be approximated. For product pages and client presentations, the output is more than sufficient. For precision manufacturing or technical purposes, a professionally modelled asset is still the better choice.

Can I edit the model after generating it?

You can update the real-world dimensions at any time after generation - just open the model in My Items and adjust the width, depth, or height. Geometry and textures are set during generation, so if you need a significantly different result you'd re-upload with a different set of images or prompt.

Are generated models saved to my Byrst library?

Yes. Every generated model is automatically saved to My Items in your Byrst account. From there you can use it in Byrst Scene for room visualisations, share the link, embed it, or update its dimensions at any time
