key benefit

Why Turn Wall Art Into an AR Experience

Give buyers the confidence to buy, and give your business the edge that drives it.

True-to-Size AR Preview

The 3D model is built to the artwork's exact measurements. Buyers see it at the right size on their wall, not just as a small thumbnail.

Instant Background Removal

Byrst's AI removes the background in one click. No photo editing software, no manual cutting, no prep work needed.

No 3D Software Required

Byrst creates a fully AR-ready 3D model from a single JPEG, PNG, or WEBP image. No design skills or special team needed.

Fewer Returns and Buyer Regrets

When buyers can see the artwork at its real size in their room before purchasing, there are no surprises about size, and return requests drop.

Works for Any Wall Art

Oil paintings, watercolors, prints, photography, and any flat wall art. If you have a JPEG, PNG, or WEBP image, Byrst can turn it into an AR experience.

A Premium Brand Impression

A polished AR experience signals quality, helping galleries, artists, and auction houses earn stronger engagement and better prices.

One Code Snippet, Any Platform

The AR model is delivered as a single code snippet. Drop it into Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, or any custom site. No extra app or plugin needed.

Add Framing for the Full Picture

Go further with mat and frame options built right into the process. Choose color, width, and thickness so buyers see the finished, framed piece in their space.

2

Crop
Crop & Straighten

Once the image loads, Byrst gives you a set of tools to clean it up before creating the model. Use as many or as few as you need, or skip ahead to sizing.

Erase

Paint over imperfections, watermarks, or anything you want removed.

Cleanup Edges
Background Removal

Byrst's AI removes the background in one click, leaving only the artwork.

3

Set the Physical Size of the Artwork

Enter the real-world width and height of the artwork. Byrst uses these numbers to scale the 3D model so it appears at the correct physical size in AR, accurate to the millimeter.

Artwork Size Enter one dimension. The other is calculated from the image ratio. W H in Lock aspect ratio (2048×1277px)
Tip
Always measure the painted or printed surface, not the canvas edge or any existing frame. Byrst adds mat and frame dimensions on top if you apply framing in the next step.
4

Add a Mat and Frame (Optional)

If the artwork will be sold or displayed with a frame, add a mat and frame now. The 3D model will include the full framed size so buyers see the finished presentation in AR, not just the bare canvas.

Mat 3 3 in Mat color
Frame None Framing Width 2 in Frame color
Tip
The live preview shows exactly how the framed artwork will look in AR. Adjust the mat width, mat color, frame thickness, and frame color until it matches your intended presentation. Then generate. If you need to change the framing after generating, you will need to start the process again, so dial it in first.
5

Review the 3D model preview to make sure the artwork, size, and framing all look right. When you are ready, click Generate 3D. Byrst processes the model and saves it to Items. From there, you can share it or add it to any webpage.

Common Questions

What types of wall art does Byrst support?

Byrst works with any flat wall art, including oil and acrylic paintings, watercolors, prints, photography, and limited-edition reproductions. As long as you have a JPEG, PNG, or WEBP image, Byrst can turn it into an AR-ready 3D model.

Do I need to upload the image to a server first?

No. You can paste a public image link and Byrst fetches it directly from wherever it is already hosted. You can also upload a file from your device. No third-party file storage is required.

Is the AR size accurate to the real artwork?

Yes. You enter the artwork's physical width and height, and Byrst builds the 3D model to those exact real-world measurements. When a buyer views it in AR, the piece appears at the correct size on their wall, not an approximation.

Can I add a frame to the 3D model?

Yes. Framing is an optional step within the wall art process. You can add a mat color and width, then choose a frame color and thickness. The framed dimensions are built into the 3D model so buyers see the finished, framed piece in AR.

How do I add the AR viewer to my website?

Once your model is generated and saved in Items, Byrst gives you a single HTML tag. Paste it into your product page on Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, or any custom site. On mobile, it launches native AR. On desktop, it shows a scannable QR code. No extra plugin, app, or SDK needed.

Can I update the model after generating it?

If you need to change the artwork, size, or framing after generating, you will need to redo the process from the beginning. Use the preview step to confirm everything looks right before generating. The process only takes a few minutes each time.
